Terms of Use

Last updated October 26, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and VALUNE, INC. (“Valune,” “we,” “us”). They apply to valuneapp.com and to the Valune app once it’s available. By using either, you agree to them.

Who can use Valune

You must be at least 18 years old. You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for what happens on your account.

Valune isn’t medical care

Valune is a tool for reflection. It isn’t therapy, medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it isn’t a crisis service. If you’re thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. In an emergency, call 911.

AI-generated content

Valune’s questions, recaps, maps and suggestions are generated with AI. They can be wrong or incomplete, and they describe patterns in what you’ve written, not facts about who you are. Use your own judgment, especially for important decisions.

Your content

What you write in Valune belongs to you. You give us permission to store, process and display it as needed to provide Valune to you, including sending it to the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy. This permission ends when you delete your content or your account, except for copies the law requires us to keep or that remain briefly in backups.

Using Valune responsibly

Don’t use Valune to break the law, to harm others or to interfere with the service. Don’t try to access other people’s accounts, reverse engineer the app, or collect data from Valune with automated tools.

Ending your account

You can stop using Valune and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

Changes

We may change Valune and these terms. If we make significant changes to the terms, we’ll update the date above and let you know in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Valune after that, the updated terms apply.

Disclaimers

Valune is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, VALUNE, INC. won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to Valune is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

App Store

If you download Valune from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple isn’t responsible for Valune or its content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
